ONEPLUS 9, HUAWEI P50 AND THE NEWS COMING SOON

There is really a lot of meat in the fire in the month of March, starting with the new top of the range of Huawei, which despite the difficulties related to the US commercial ban continues to churn out new smartphones, but OPPO and OnePlus are not far behind, without forgetting ASUS and of course Samsung.

OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro:

Over the last few weeks there have been so many rumors related to the next top of the range from OnePlus. Except for surprises for the two top models, OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, a Lite version should also be added, which could however be called OnePlus 9R.

If from the display side no news is expected, with OnePlus 9 which should mount the same panel as OnePlus 8T, even if someone talks about the panel used by Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra with QHD + resolution, the main news could arrive from the photographic sector thanks to the collaboration with Hasselblad.

For the rest, there is a Snapdragon 888, 4,500 mAh battery with 65 watt fast charging and battery charger inserted in the sales package (unlike Apple and, in part, Samsung). It will be interesting to understand these improvements will affect the selling price, with a further upward leap already seen in recent years.

In addition to smartphones, OnePlus could also present its first smartwatch, which should use Wear OS and have a very similar, if not identical, design to that of the OPPO Watch. There is still an official date for the presentation event, but knowing OnePlus we will soon discover this last “detail”.

Samsung:

It is difficult, if not impossible, that a month passes without Samsung presenting any news, and even March should not make exceptions. Samsung Galaxy A52 5G was expected in February but apparently we will find out in detail only in this month. Snapdragon 750G, a good battery and a quadruple rear camera, nothing special and only the price will decide its success. If the rumors were to be confirmed (449 euros) it will struggle to break through, at least until it drops to more acceptable levels, given the large competition in this range.

However, the probable presence of a 120 Hz screen and IP67 certification should be emphasized, details for some but which could make a difference for many.

It may still be early for the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition, which should be launched in the second half of the year, but we don’t feel like ruling out further news in the coming weeks.

ASUS ROG Phone 5:

The new gaming phone of the Taiwanese manufacturer will be presented on March 10th ASUS ROG Phone 5. Confirming what is a well-established tradition for most Chinese manufacturers, we go from last year’s ROG Phone 3 to this year’s 5, skipping the number 4 for superstition reasons (remember that four in Chinese has a very similar to the word death).

6.78-inch screen with 144 Hz refresh for a gaming experience at the highest levels, Snapdragon 888, three cameras and a double 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging at 65 watts. ASUS could use a particular solution for the back cover, with the logo composed of many small LEDs.

OPPO Find X3:

Officially we only know that OPPO Find X3 Pro will have a 10-bit display capable of managing a billion colors, everything else comes as always from rumors, rumors and previews of the usual well-informed.

Being the top of the range of the Chinese manufacturer, we expect a Snapdragon 888 with support for 5G, 4,500 mAh battery with fast charging at 65 watts (wireless at 30 watts), triple rear camera integrated into the body with a very particular design. A new solution developed in collaboration with Sony should be chosen for the main sensor, with a resolution that could go up to 108 megapixels.

There is no official launch date yet, but it is almost certain that we will see OPPO Find X3 Pro, which could be accompanied by other variants, within the first half of March.

Huawei P50:

The Huawei P50 series, which should be composed of three different variants with Kirin 9000E and Kirin 9000 processors, should arrive towards the end of this month (there is talk of a date between 26 and 28).

For the screen, Huawei should abandon the “pill” hole for a more traditional solution, with a single hole. Nothing “waterfall” but rather a slight curvature on the sides. Many innovations are also expected in the photographic sector, which has always been a strong point for Huawei flagships, but the most awaited novelty is related to the software.

The Huawei P50 series should be the first to offer a double boot, with Android and Harmony OS. In China, things should be different and Huawei could launch the new smartphones with only Harmony OS 2.0 on board.

The others:

In this month we will see other news we have talked about, starting with Redmi Note 10, and it is likely that we will see some “surprises” that we will not fail to bring to you.
